Business Hours

Monday thru Friday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM MST. We check (and respond to where possible) phone messages and email 7 days a week so if you have a question please feel free to leave us a message or send an email and we will respond as quickly as possible.

Accepted Methods of Payment

We accept the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.  We also accept eChecks through PayPal subject to a 4 business day hold pending check clearance. We now also accept orders by phone. Call us at (602) 370-3312 and we will be happy to assist you with your order processing.

Backorders

We do our best to keep backorders to a minimum. However, it is inevitable that items will be out of stock from time to time due to high demand. Items may be backordered from a few days to four weeks (sometimes longer).  If you see that an item you are interested in is listed as backordered please feel free to give us a call (602) 370-3312 or send us an email, and we will be glad to see if there is a possibility of finding the item for you. Please include the item number and the size of the garment(s) you are interested in.

Shipping

Most orders are processed within one to two business day (unless otherwise noted) as most items are made in the U.S.A. and are in stock ready to ship.  We ship Monday thru Friday. Be aware that delivery dates do not include weekends and holidays. Our usual method of shipment is via ground service. If you require your items reach you sooner then what ground service offers, please indicate your preferred method of shipment as you are checking out.  If you require expedited shipping please supply us with a street address for delivery as UPS does not deliver to PO Boxes. (Please note that on a few of our gift items expedited shipping is not available). To help us serve you better, please include your ceremony date in the comments section during checkout. Cost of shipping is dependent on order total and is calculated at checkout.

Caution: Please be careful when choosing ground service if your ceremony falls on the weekend coming up as no one can guarantee shipping 100%. Even though we get your package shipped right away we have no control over it once it leaves our shipping facility and we wouldn't want you to be disappointed. Christening Essentials is not responsible for shipping delays experienced by couriers due to weather situations/storms and unforeseen disasters. Refunds are not available if the delays are out of our control.

Returns

PRODUCT IS NOT-RETURNABLE IF IT HAS BEEN WORN.  We do our best to show accurate pictures of our items.  When placing an order please give the exact style number and description of the item(s) you wish to purchase so that we are both sure you are ordering the item(s) that you want.  Please consult the size chart for size needed.

At Christening Essentials, we strive to offer the finest children's garments.  Each garment is hand-crafted to exacting standards and must pass through a series of inspections before it reaches you, the customer.  Please check the garment carefully before removing any tags or labels.  (Items with tags removed cannot be returned). If the item is received damaged, clearly mark problem area(s) with removable tape (or if tape might damage the garment, add a descriptive note) to help us quickly identify the problem you have detected.

ALL Returns require a Return Authorization Number (RA #) and unless a mistake has been made on our part, the return is subject to a 15% restocking fee plus the original freight charges. Return freight is the responsiblilty of the consumer.  If a return is required due to an error on our part, a restocking fee is not charged. Do not return any items until you receive an RA number. E-mail us within 3 days of receipt of goods for an RA number. Please call us right away if you need to return an item (absolutely no returns accepted after 30 days). We reserve the right not to accept any returns without an RA number. Any item returned without an RA number, may be refused or if accepted be subject to a 20% restocking fee to cover the additional time and effort to process the return. Additionally Christening Essentials reserves the right to charge a 20% restocking fee if we have not been notified of the return within the required 3 days from receipt of order.  Any items returned to us with customer caused damage may be refused or if accepted be subject to a restocking fee (% to be determined according to the extent of the damage). An RA number is valid for 15 days only.  After 15 days the RA number is automatically voided,and  your return will not be accepted and no credit will be issued. 

All Clearance and Closeout items are final sale. Please make your selection carefully as the styles offered in this category are only available in the sizes listed and are non-returnable except in the case of fabric or workmanship flaws.

Personalized items may only be returned if they are defective, or we have made an error in spelling. These items will be fixed or replaced. We do not offer refunds on personalized items. Please be sure of spelling and dates before you make your order as items that have errors due to a mistake in ordering will not be accepted for a refund or exchange. In the event of an error on our part, e-mail us within 2 days of receipt of item and we will make arrangements for a replacement.

Exchanges

Exchanges will be made (no restocking fee - if we are notified promptly) only for size differences when necessary within the same style.  E-mail us with any size exchange request within 48 hours of receipt of goods.  A Christening Essentials Authorization (RA) number is required for all exchanges.  Shipping charges will be refunded only for errors made by Christening Essentials. You are responsible for shipping charges for the replacement items.

Enclose your RA number and return the item(s) within 15 days of the date the RA number was issued.  An RA number is valid for 15 days only.  After 15 days the RA number is automatically voided, and your return will not be accepted and no credit will be issued.  In order to receive the most credit possible when returning items, please include all the items in a set, i.e., hangers, slips, booties, hat, etc. which go with the returned outfit. If garment returned to us shows any signs of being worn, no credit will be issued.

Upon receipt of your shipment to us, please allow three (3) working days to review your findings and where appropriate, issue a credit. It is not uncommon to take one (1) week for your shipment to arrive to us. Your credit should be finalized within two weeks after you return goods to us.

Additional Information

Typographical Errors

In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or error in pricing or product information, Christening Essentials shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Christening Essentials shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is cancelled, Christening Essentials shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge. 

Please Note: We only allow one discount or gift per customer and discounts/gifts apply only to orders placed online (Sorry, phone orders are not eligible).
